WonderAlong Family Privacy Policy
WonderAlong is designed so children can explore stories and activities without providing personal information. We do not ask minors to submit names, email addresses, school information, photos, voices, locations, or homework files.
Children and minors
Children may browse the public stories and activities without creating an account. Adult permission and an adult email address are required for membership features. Purchases, messages, and promotional email sign-ups are intended for parents, legal guardians, teachers, and other adults.
Turtle Learning Lab
Vocabulary words and definitions are processed in the child’s browser to create puzzles. WonderAlong does not save those words, definitions, or completed puzzles.
Adult membership
After one free puzzle set, a parent, guardian, teacher, or other adult may provide an adult email address to continue using the lab. The email is used to recognize the membership. Promotional email is optional and requires a separate choice.
Limited technical records
The lab places a secure browser token and keeps a limited technical record to provide the one-free-set limit and continued member access. The token does not contain the email address. Limited usage records help WonderAlong understand which pages and activities families use. These records include a random visit identifier, date, broad referral source, page category, and activity or retailer-link events. They do not include the vocabulary entered into the Learning Lab.
Digital purchases and payment services
When direct checkout is available, purchases of our digital products through Lemon Squeezy will be handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. It collects the checkout and payment information needed to process the order, handle applicable taxes, prevent fraud, and provide receipts and download access. WonderAlong may receive the adult purchaser’s name, email address, purchased products, order identifier, order status, and related transaction information needed to deliver products, answer questions, and handle refund requests. We do not ask customers to send full payment-card details or passwords, and these are not needed for product support. Purchasing a product does not by itself subscribe you to promotional email.
Messages and service providers
If you contact us, we receive the email address and information you choose to include, such as an order number or description of a file problem. Please avoid sending children’s personal information. We use this information to respond, provide support, and keep necessary business records.
Hosting, database, email, and commerce providers process information needed to operate their respective services. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, address fraud, or resolve a dispute. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own.
Storage, retention, and your choices
We retain membership, support, and purchase-related information for as long as reasonably needed for the service or request, recordkeeping, fraud prevention, and applicable legal obligations. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your information or withdraw an optional marketing choice by emailing nick@wonderalongllc.com. Some records may need to be retained where the law requires it. Additional privacy rights may apply depending on where you live.
Browser settings allow you to manage cookies and local storage, although blocking necessary storage may affect membership access. Payment-service information held independently by Lemon Squeezy is also subject to its privacy policy and request process.
External retailers and social profiles
Links to Amazon, IngramSpark, Instagram, Pinterest, and other external services take you to sites with their own privacy practices. Their policies govern the information you provide to them.
Accidental submissions, choices and deletion
If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it. An adult may also request access to or deletion of their membership email by contacting nick@wonderalongllc.com.
